Generally, the best candidates for laser tattoo removal are those who have small, dark tattoos that are located in areas with little pigment. The laser targets the tattoo pigment and breaks it down, which makes it easier for the body to remove the tattoo.
Other factors that can affect laser tattoo removal treatment include the type of tattoo, the age of the tattoo, the location of the tattoo, and the health of the skin. If you are considering laser tattoo removal, be sure to consult with a dermatologist to see if you are a good candidate for this type of treatment.
